THE BATON ROUGE BROWNFIELD PROGRAM WILL DESIGNED TO OPERATE WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF A COMPREHENSIVE PLAN, FUTURE VR.

OUR BROWN FIELDS PROGRAM IMPLEMENTS SU WE ARE PLAN GOALS AND OBJECTIVES TO PROTECT AND ENHANCE THE VALUE AND CHARACTER OF EXISTING URBAN CORES TO REMOTE DEVELOPMENT AND REDEVELOPMENT WITHIN THE URBANIZED AREAS, TO REVITALIZE NEIGHBORHOODS THAT ARE SEEING THIS INVESTMENT TO CREATE AND MAINTAIN ACCESSIBLE OPEN SPACE IN GREENBELT AREAS.

THE BR GOLF COURSE AT BEAVER CREEK IS NATIONALLY RECOGNIZED AND IS TRULY ONE OF BRETT'S MOST SUCCESSFUL AND UTILIZED RECREATION AREAS.

MAINTAINING THE QUALITY AND REPUTATION OF THIS COURSE IS A PARAMOUNT IMPORTANCE TO THE PARISH OF EAST BATON ROUGE.

AS OTHER SURROUNDING COURSES OF PRIVATE OWNERSHIP HAVE FAILED AND STRUGGLED TO SURVIVE, BEAVER CREEK PROVES THERE IS A NEED AND A DESIRE FOR SUCH AN AMENITY.

AND THE COURSE IS FILLED DAILY WITH AVID GOLFERS OF ALL LEVELS.

THEY SPEAK HIGHLY OF THE COURSE AND MANY ARE REGULAR PARTICIPANTS.

THE CITY OF ZACHARY CAN HELP PROTECT US DRINKING WATER BY PROTECTING THE SURROUNDING WETLANDS.

RESIDENTS MAY GET THEIR DRINKING WATER FROM ONE OF THE TWO AQUIFERS THAT ZACHARY UTILIZES AND WETLANDS IN RECHARGING GROUNDWATER THROUGH THE AQUIFERS TO ASSIST PROPER STORM WATER RUNOFF AND ABATEMENT.

THE DEVELOPER SHOULD PROVIDE A STORM WATER MANAGEMENT PLAN THAT IS NO OLDER THAN FIVE YEARS OLD TO ASSESS THE WATERSHED IMPACT AND AREA SURFACE WATER HYDROLOGY.

THE DEVELOPER SHOULD ALSO PROVIDE DRAINAGE IMPACT STUDY THAT IS NO MORE THAN FIVE YEARS OLD.

THE DEVELOPER SHOULD PROVIDE A WATER QUALITY IMPACT STUDY THAT IS NO MORE THAN FIVE YEARS OLD, ALONG WITH A FEMA FLOOD MAP.

UPDATED VERSION AND TRAFFIC STUDIES OR OTHER INFRASTRUCTURE IMPACT SURVEYS SHOULD BE CONSIDERED.

THIS IS MY REQUEST THE COMMISSION TO SEE THAT THIS IS AN IMPERATIVE MATTER AND THESE REQUESTS COMPLY WITH THE FEDERAL LAWS AND PROVIDE FOR THE BEST POSSIBLE OUTCOME FOR EAST BAT ROUGE'S PARISH IN THE CITY OF ZACHARY.

SO CONSTRUCTION PLAN APPROVAL IS A SEPARATE PROCESS OUTSIDE OF PRELIMINARY PLAT APPROVAL.

THAT'S WHAT, UH, THE APPLICANT IS TRYING TO SEEK NOW IS, IS INITIAL CONCEPTUAL PRELIMINARY PLAT APPROVAL.

THERE WAS QUESTIONS ALSO RAISED REGARDING THE BUILDING PAD ELEVATIONS THAT WILL DEPEND ON

UH, AGAIN, JURISDICTIONAL WETLANDS ON THE SITE, UH, WILL BE DE IDENTIFIED DURING THE CONSTRUCTION PLAN PROCESS.
