WE LIKED THE GOODWOOD VILLA SUBDIVISION.

AND SO WE MOVED INTO A HOUSE WHERE WE'RE LIVING IN TODAY, 10 19 COLONIAL.

THAT'S ABOUT HALF A BLOCK AWAY FROM THIS, UH, PROJECT THAT THE A BEARS WANT TO DO.

I ASSURE YOU, IF WE HAD, UH, LOOKED AT THE HOUSE THAT WE'RE LIVING IN AND NEXT DOOR THERE WAS A LOT WITH THREE HOUSES ON IT, THERE IS NO WAY WE WOULD'VE MOVED INTO GOODWOOD VILLA SUBDIVISION.

THREE HOUSES ON ONE LOT, AND WE'RE TALKING ABOUT NOT ACREAGE, BUT REGULAR SUBDIVISION LOTS MEANS THREE TIMES AS MANY PEOPLE, THREE TIMES THE NUMBER OF CARS, THREE TIMES THE NOISE, THREE TIMES THE PETS, THREE TIMES THE GARBAGE.

AND THERE IS VERY LIKELY TO BE A RENT HOUSE, UH, AMONG ONE OF THOSE THREE HOUSES.

AND, UH, THERE WILL BE PARKING PROBLEMS, THERE WILL BE PEOPLE PARKING ON COLONIAL DRIVE, WHICH WILL MAKE TURNS

WE HAVE 178 LOTS IN GOODWOOD VILLA SUBDIVISION.

WE'RE ALL SINGLE FAMILY HOMES.

THEY BUILT A ONE STREET SUBDIVISION IMMEDIATELY BY MY BEHIND MY HOME A FEW YEARS AGO.

AND YOU ONLY APPROVED SINGLE FAMILY HOMES ON THE SAME SIZE LOT AT THE END OF GOODWOOD AND COLONIAL.

THAT'S GONNA BE ROUGH BECAUSE SOMEBODY IS GONNA WIND UP BACKING OUT ONTO COLONIAL DRIVE, ONTO, UH, GOODWOOD BUBA.

THERE IS NO OTHER WAY I WOULD'VE THOUGHT THAT WAS ILLEGAL IN ITSELF, BUT APPARENTLY IT ISN'T TO BACK OUT ONTO A TWO LANE STREET.

THREE HOUSES ON A LOT LESS THAN THAT, HALF AN ACRE THREE.

AND THEY DON'T FIT WITH ANY OF THE 176 HOUSES IN THE SUBDIVISION, WHICH ARE ALL ACADIAN STYLE HOUSES OTHER THAN MINE.

'CAUSE I LIVE IN THE ODD BOAR HOUSE THAT THE ARCHITECT DESIGNED FOR THE RABBI.

BUT EVEN MY HOUSE FROM THE STREET LOOKS LIKE MY NEIGHBORS.

WHEN YOU STEP INTO MY COURTYARD IN THE BACK, IT LOOKS COMPLETELY DIFFERENT.

BUT FROM THE STREET, IT LOOKS LIKE MY NEIGHBORS.

THESE ARE GARAGE SHOTGUN HOUSES.

ALL YOU WILL SEE FROM THE FRONT IS A GARAGE AND A FRONT DOOR.

TWO OF THEM FACING COLONIAL DRIVE, ONE OF THEM ON GOODWOOD BOULEVARD.

IT DOES NOT FIT WITH ANYTHING.

EVEN THE HOUSE ACROSS THE VERY STREET ON COLONIAL, ON THE OTHER SIDE ON GOODWOOD BOULEVARD IS A SINGLE FAMILY HOME.

NOW WE HAVE BUSINESSES TO THE RIGHT BUSINESSES TO THE LEFT, BUT THE DEFINING PART OF GOOD OF GOODWOOD BOULEVARD, THAT IS GOODWOOD VILLA IS SINGLE FAMILY HOUSES.

EVERYBODY EXTENDED AN KNOWLEDGE BRANCH TO THE DEVELOPER AND SAID, IF YOU WANT TO BUILD ONE, EVEN BUILD TWO, EVERYONE WILL BE IN CONSENSUS AND LET YOU DO IT.

BUT THREE, THAT'S PURE AGREED.

IT'S NOT NECESSARY.

I CERTAINLY UNDERSTAND THE NEIGHBORHOOD CONCERNS.

UM, WHEN I PURCHASED MY HOUSE IN JEFFERSON TERRACE AND JEFFERSON TERRACE HAS HAD A TREMENDOUS AMOUNT OF, OF INFILL AND, AND I DON'T KNOW THAT I WOULD CALL THIS INFILL, I GUESS ON, AND TECHNICALLY IN A WAY IT IS.

UM, YOU KNOW, WE, WE PURCHASED OUR HOUSE.

WE THOUGHT, UH, WE WERE GONNA HAVE WOODS BEHIND US AND SIX MONTHS LATER, UH, EV JUST ABOUT EVERY TREE GOT GOT KNOCKED DOWN AND WE GOT, UM, THREE SUBDIVISIONS BEHIND US.

SO I KNOW WHAT IT'S LIKE TO PURCHASE A PROPERTY THINKING THAT AROUND YOU IS GONNA BE ONE WAY.

AND THEN, AND THEN THERE, THERE IS A CHANGE.

UM, SO THE, UH, THE, THE LOT THAT, UM, WOULD EXIT ONTO GOODA BOULEVARD DOES HAVE A TURNAROUND, UM, OUTSIDE OF THE, THE TWO CAR GARAGE.

SO, UM, SO CARS SHOULD BE ABLE TO BACK IN AND THEN, AND THEN TURN OUT, UM, FORWARD FACING.

UM, I WOULD SAY THAT AN ICE BUD WITH THREE HOMES IN IT IS CERTAINLY THE LESS INTENSIVE.

UM, I THINK IF THIS, THIS LOT CONTINUES TO, TO, TO REMAIN THERE OUT OF COMMERCE, UM, THE PRICE OF THE LAND WILL INCREASE.

AND I WOULD SEE IN THE, THE FUTURE, UM, THAT, YOU KNOW, AS THE LIGHT, THERE'S THE, THE COST OF THE LAND INCREASES THAT IT WOULD JUST BECOME, UM, POSSIBLY A TOWNHOUSE, UM, DEVELOPMENT OR IT WOULD GO INTO COMMERCIAL, WHICH I KNOW THE NEIGHBORHOOD HAS BEEN VERY OPPOSED TO COMMERCIAL EVEN, UM, NEIGHBORHOOD OFFICE COMMERCIAL.
