Waiving the provisions of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Baton Rouge and Parish of East Baton Rouge, Title 9 (Licensing and Regulation of Trades and Occupations), Chapter 18 (Wine, Beer, and Liquor), Sections 9:1005 and 9:1008, to allow the issuance of a temporary liquor license to Galatoire's Restaurant, Located at 3535 Perkins Road, prior to the end of the notice of intent period. Authorizing the Mayor-President and the Parish Attorney's Office to take such action as may be required in connection with the proposed acquisition of land and buildings located at 9050, 9000, & 9048 Airline Highway for use as a public safety complex for the purchase price of $10 million, and appropriating $200,000 for the estimated cost associated with due diligence, including a $100,000 deposit.
