A Resolution ordering and calling an election to be held in the Parish of East Baton Rouge, State of Louisiana, on October 24, 2015, for the purpose of authorizing the renewal of the levy and collection of a 11.1 mills ad valorem tax on all property subject to taxation within the boundaries of the Parish of East Baton Rouge, State of Louisiana, for a period of ten (10) years, commencing with the tax collection for the year 2016, and annually thereafter, to and including the 2025, for the purpose of providing funds (after paying reasonable and necessary expenses of collecting and administering the Tax) to be used entirely and exclusively for the purpose of maintaining and operating the public library system of the Parish of East Baton Rouge and its branches, improving services, acquiring land and constructing new library facilities, to be administered by the East Baton Rouge Parish Library Board of Control, in the manner required by law; making application to the Louisiana State Bond Commission; and providing for other matters in connection therewith.
